The draft proposed second generation Rangitaiki River Document“Te Ara Whānui ō Rangitaiki – Pathways of the Rangitaiki”is open for submissions.
The Rangitaiki River Document sets a vision, desired outcomes and objectives for the Rangitaiki River catchment.
It gives effect to parts of the Ngāti Manawa Claims Settlement Act 2012 and Ngāti Whare Claims Settlement Act 2012.

Any person can make a submission.
Written submissions must be received by 4pm on Thursday, 5th November 2026.
